From Runspire Nottingham to Runspire Together Here’s Why This Matters

Over the past few years, we’ve grown. Not just in size, but in heart, ambition, and reach. What started as a community initiative in Nottingham has become a movement bringing people together to walk, run, move, and reconnect with their wellbeing, one step at a time.

And now, we’re proud to say: we’re changing our name to reflect that journey.

So, Why Runspire Together?

Because it’s no longer just about Nottingham.

It’s about walking with confidence in St. Ann’s.

It’s about Nordic walking in Strelley, Colwick and Derby. It’s about Couch to 5K in Bulwell, Beeston, Lenton, West Bridgford, Carlton and beyond.

It’s about friendships formed on the move, support when life gets tough, and stories of resilience that inspire us all.

We realised that our name needed to reflect the incredible diversity and strength of the people who make up our community from first-timers to lifelong movers, from 15-year-olds to 75-year-olds. The local name no longer fit who we are… but Runspire Together does.

What Does Runspire Together Mean?

Runspire combines our passion for running, walking, and Nordic walking, with our mission to inspire whatever your pace, background, or starting point.

Together speaks to our core: we’re a community. No one gets left behind, and every step forward is shared.

This name change isn’t just cosmetic it’s a commitment.
