Free Nordic Walking
& Social Walk Sessions
Runspire Together have partnered with Nottingham City Council's Travel Well project to deliver free Nordic Walking and Social Walking sessions. Our mission of changing people's lives through our running and walking communities is a great fit with Travel Well's project of "...supporting people to become more active, manage mental and physical wellbeing and address social isolation."

New Nordic walking 10 week beginners course starting week beginning 10th November. Sessions at Colwick Park, Strelley Village and Bulwell.

Nordic walking at Ken Martin Leisure Centre | Thursdays at 11am

Wellness walks Thursday at 1pm. Both Meet at Mile End Road Car Park (next to Rectory Playing Fields)

Nordic walking Tuesdays at 11am
Our Nordic Walking sessions can introduce you to the various techniques of walking using poles and give you a full body work out each session. If your more interested in just getting out of the house and making some new pals our Wellness Social walks are all about taking it easy and having a natter and you don't have to concentrate on synchronising your arms and legs!
Whether you're going for a stomp nordic style or having a gentle meander, we'll take you through some of the more scenic areas of autumnal Nottingham. You'll encounter plenty of flora and fauna; see what birds you can identify with the Merlin app! https://merlin.allaboutbirds.org/
