ABOUT US >

At Runspire Nottingham, (a working title for registered charity Bulwell Runners CIO) we are more than just a running group—we are a community that inspires people to embrace fitness, friendship, and fun! Whether you’re a complete beginner, a walking enthusiast, or curious about trying Nordic walking, you’ll find a warm and supportive environment with us. Our mission is simple: to make running and walking accessible and enjoyable for everyone, no matter your experience or fitness level. Locations and Sessions We have several branches across Nottingham, and we're growing rapidly! Join us in: •Bulwell: Meet at Ken Martin Leisure Centre every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. We offer Couch to 5K programs, social running, walking, and Nordic walking. •Bilborough: Every Thursday at Harvey Hadden Sports Village at 7pm. Our sessions include Couch to 5K and social running. •St. Anns: Enjoy Nordic walking sessions every Tuesday at 11am and try our invigorating RunFit Fusion at 7am on Tuesdays (starting 24th September). More sessions are coming soon in October! •The Meadows: Starting September 23rd, join us for Couch to 5K at The Portland Centre every Tuesday at 1pm, supported by Thriving Nottingham. With more exciting locations launching in October, including Hucknall and Arnold, and future plans for Hyson Green, there’s always a Runspire session nearby! A Welcoming Environment At Runspire Nottingham, we believe in creating a community where everyone feels welcome. Whether you're a first-time runner or experienced, our sessions are designed to suit all fitness levels. From gentle walks to social runs, there's something for everyone. And the best part? Our sessions are filled with laughter, camaraderie, and lasting friendships. Plus, our golden rule: no one gets left behind! Our Story Runspire Nottingham began in February 2022, and we’ve grown rapidly since then. We’re proud to be making a real difference in people's lives. As a registered charity, we promote fitness, wellbeing, and positive mental health through running, walking, and social interaction. Our passionate volunteers are dedicated to helping people make exercise and socialising a natural part of everyday life. Whether it's running in the countryside, enjoying the fresh air, or simply sharing a great time with new friends, Runspire Nottingham is here to inspire you to move, connect, and thrive.
