Volunteer Support Co-ordinator Job Description
Role Title: Volunteer Support Co-ordinator
Location: Various locations across Nottingham
Commitment: Flexible, approximately 5 hours per week
Reports to: Project Lead
Role Purpose:
As a Volunteer Support Co-ordinator for Runspire Nottingham, you will focus on providing ongoing support and development to our volunteers. Your role will be essential in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment that empowers volunteers to contribute effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the main point of contact for volunteers.
• Provide ongoing communication, motivation, and support.
• Organize training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
• Ensure volunteers have the necessary resources and information.
• Maintain volunteer records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with the Volunteer Recruitment Co-ordinator to enhance volunteer engagement.
Key Skills and Experience:
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Experience in volunteer management or community engagement (desirable but not essential).
• Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Basic IT skills to manage volunteer communications.
