Her Spirt 12 - Weeks Fitness For Health

We're proud to support Her Spirit’s 12-week programme in collaboration with Breast Cancer Now, Primary Health Care Derby, The HUB Derby, and Runspire Nottingham. 

 

This pilot, designed for women in Derby who have completed hospital-based treatment for primary breast cancer, helps them become more active post-treatment.

Starting or resuming exercise after breast cancer can be challenging due to confidence, time, and motivation barriers. This pioneering programme offers flexible, expert-supported solutions to help women rebuild fitness.

Lynne, a regular swimmer at Spring Lakes, shares:

"When I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time in 2022, I was training for two sporting events. I was determined not to let cancer stop me. The Her Spirit app helped me stay connected, and I credit my recovery to strength classes and open-water swimming."

We’re excited to collaborate with Her Spirit in Derby on this innovative programme to help women get fitter, stronger, and healthier in 2025.
